Our Purpose Statement

As believers committed to God and walking in obedience to Him, we affirm the purpose of Grace to You, which is to teach biblical truth with clarity, taking advantage of various means of mass communications to expand the sphere of John MacArthur's teaching ministry.

Because employees of Grace to You must be deacon or deaconess qualified, please read the scriptural qualifications below and indicate whether you meet them. If you do not believe you meet the qualifications and nevertheless want us to consider your application, please explain in the space provided.

“Deacons likewise must be men of dignity, not double-tongued, or addicted to much wine or fond of sordid gain, but holding to the mystery of the faith with a clear conscience. These men must also first be tested; then let them serve as deacons if they are beyond reproach. Women must likewise be dignified, not malicious gossips, but temperate, faithful in all things. Deacons must be husbands of only one wife, and good managers of their children and their own households” (1 Timothy 3:8–12, NASB).

Employment History

Grace to You is a distinctly Christian organization whose primary objective is to help Christians better understand God's Word. Since we believe that only those who know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior are capable of understanding God's truth (1 Corinthians 2:14) and effectively communicating it to others, all employees must give clear testimony to having repented and believed the gospel. Please take a moment to describe your current relationship with God, the history of your Christian commitment, and your present church involvement.

In addition, because the ministry of Grace to You is directly related to John MacArthur's pulpit ministry at Grace Community Church, I also understand that each employee must be a member of Grace Community Church and a regular attendee of the Sunday services there. If I am not currently a member, I agree to enter the membership process upon being hired.
  • I hereby understand and acknowledge that, unless otherwise defined by law, any employment relationship with this organization is of an “at will” nature, which means that the Employee may resign at any time and the Employer may discharge the Employee at any time with or without cause. I also understand that this “at will” employment relationship may not be changed by any written document or by conduct unless such a change is specifically acknowledged in writing by an authorized executive of this organization.
  • I authorize Grace to You to investigate my entire work history and verify all data given in my application, related papers, or oral interviews. This application is my consent for Grace to You to contact the references and former employers (where so indicated), and for those references and former employers to release any relevant information to Grace to You without providing me prior notice or requesting my consent.
